Automated Role Assignment across the enteRprise

Challenge

This  enterprise customer had a massive responsibility of protecting a large city's infrastructure which required many security operators to help monitor the security system. To reduce operator complacency or fatigue, the customer wanted the ability to assign operators  to different areas of the facility.

 

Solution

New Market Solutions developed a  "Role Assignment" application that lets administrator define roles and assign them to respective operators quickly and easily.  A role is a combination of privileges and application layouts authorized for one or more operators. It is incredibly easy to design an unlimited number of roles, and simply assign them to the appropriate operators…much more efficient than manually building and adjusting those settings each day.

 

Results

The  customer is now able to assign operators to different areas quickly and easily. For example, one operator may be assigned to monitor the loading docks on Monday, but the perimeter gates on Tuesday.
